Traditional Burmese Massage

Daw Sein Sein, the traditional massage practitioner, makes her own massage oils. She is a tiny little lady who uses every part of her body to poke and prod and put you back into place.

  1. I'm so glad that Southeast Asian medicine is coming into wider appreciation (although that brings with it its own set of difficulties). While Thai massage has taken off, there is so much more to learn, apply and become artful with.

Thanks for the great slide show and thanks for your videos, recipes, website and blog!

  2. Hey, Hella

I couldn't find an email to contact you, so I am posting this here as a comment, ok?

I hereby happily designate your blog as a Premio Symbelmine award recipient. Congratulations!

"Premio" means award, and "symbelmines" are myosotis flowers, also known as “forget-me-not", and the award is a "pay-it-forward" sort of thing created by a Spanish blogger last year as a means of showing recognition for other bloggers' work.

To accept the award, you simply write a post displaying it as well as a link to the award ceremony on my blog - http://enzimato.blogspot.com/2009/03/premio-symbelmine.html - which is in Portuguese, sorry... but there are lots of information in English there, too! Then, you choose seven other blogs that you feel deserve special recognition and pass the Premio Symblemine on to them. If you wish, you can also show the award on your blog in a permanent way.

I hope you enjoy... thank you for what you've done until now, and keep up the great work!!
